MARKÉTA KOŘÍNKOVÁ TAPLIN
M. is a production designer working across feature films, television and commercials.
With a background in fine art and training at FAMU in Prague and the National Film and Television School, her work draws on Central European and British cinematic traditions, alongside a fascination with art, architecture and history, and extensive international production experience.
From independent auteur cinema to large-scale studio television, she moves between historical, contemporary and imagined worlds, creating distinctive environments with a visual language unique to each project.
Her work includes Apple TV+'s The Buccaneers, ITV's The Confessions of Frannie Langton, the BIFA-nominated feature Undergods, alongside commercials for leading brands. She has designed projects across more than twenty countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas.
